We love hearing about our clients’ adventures. Barbara and Dom recently travelled on Bunnik Tours’ South American Discovery with Galapagos Islands and Patagonia extensions.
Q. Can you tell us about your experience with Bunnik Tours?
A. Bunnik were terrific – we can’t recommend them highly enough. The included experiences, hotels and meals were exceptional. It was a great balance between cultural and nature experiences. We really liked the fact that some of our transport components were public transport. Having a guide with us made this experience lots of fun.
Q. How would you describe your tour guides?
A. We were most impressed with the quality of our guides, especially in Ecuador. They were always on hand to give valuable advice – we were given lots of suggestions for our free time regarding things to do and places to eat.
Q. Do you have any other comments about Bunnik Tours?
A. Thank you so much for recommending Bunnik Tours – which we hadn’t heard of before. The experience was fabulous, especially the small group concept. On the coaches, we all got window seats! We also loved the fact that Bunnik Tours are a smaller, family-owned company, rather than a big multinational. We were also very impressed that they practice responsible tourism, giving back to the community. We visited a hostel, which aims to give life and work skills to local women. We also visited markets, so we could support the local vendors.
Q. What were some of the highlights of your tour?
A. We did so many amazing things and visited some incredible places. Dom is an avid photographer and took over 8,000 photos! Machu Picchu was breathtaking. Iguazu Falls was quite spectacular – we got to see it from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides.
Q. Would you recommend Bunnik Tours to your friends?
A. Without hesitation. We can’t sing their praises highly enough.
Q. How useful was the advice and pre-trip planning by your Seniors Holiday Travel consultant?
A. Terrific. Everything was very accurate and useful. We always got a quick reply to our email questions. Thanks to all concerned, especially Stacey!
