Dakota Travels to Longreach and Winton

I had to opportunity to go on the Legendary Longreach & Winton with Outback Aussie Tours. It was a great experience and truly has something for everyone. Including learning about Qantas’ beginnings, viewing the spectacular Stockman’s show at the Stockman’s Hall of Fame, cruising the Thomson at sunset and learning about the general way of life for the locals.

To top it off, this part of our country is home to some spectacular outback views like the Three Sisters in the scenic Cory’s Range and you will
have the unique experience of seeing dinosaur bones and 3300 fossilised footprints at Lark Quarry Conservation Park.

The days are quite long on this tour, as there is so much to do. However it is done at a leisurely pace which makes it very comfortable.

I highly recommend this tour as the guides are extremely knowledgeable and I feel that that is the only way to truly absorb the scenery and
appreciate the history that these outback towns have to offer.
