The Incredible Scenic Story

Now celebrating their 30th birthday and operating over 500 tours to 66 countries, Scenic has come a long way since they began operating coach tours in Australia in 1986.

They’ve grown from humble beginnings to a world-renowned luxury cruise and tour operator, with a reputation for creating the ultimate itineraries for travellers who seek extraordinary experiences and exceptional service. In fact, their journey resembles that of the Seniors Holiday Travel Team Privilege Club over the past 18 years!

It’s been interesting to watch Scenic grow over that time. They have been opening up cruises and tours to new destinations so travellers can enjoy the Scenic Five-Star Luxury Experience wherever they go, year after year.
Scenic has been operating luxury coach, rail and cruise holidays to Canada & Alaska for nearly two decades, and we’ve been sending groups of Privilege Club members there with Scenic for about 15 years – a long-term partnership I am truly proud of!

Why I love the ‘Scenic Experience’ in Canada & Alaska.

I’d like to start with the Fairmont Hotels – these are true iconic luxury destinations in themselves; from the Fairmont Empress in Victoria (my personal favourite hotel in the world), Fairmont Vancouver, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (located right on stunning Lake Louise), and of course, Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel (‘the Castle in the Mountains’). No doubt, just like I did, you’ll be taking photos of these as mementos of your Canada & Alaska holiday with Scenic.

Add to this the world famous Rocky Mountaineer, in spectacular GoldLeaf Service – yes, the trains with the glass-domed carriages, for two unforgettable days. Then, there’s your seven night return cruise to Alaska, including the Inside Passage and Glacier Bay National Park, cruising with Holland America Cruise Lines, in your Verandah Stateroom.

The bottom line is, Scenic make you feel like a VIP. So why not create your very own ‘Scenic Story’ and tick off Canada & Alaska from your bucket list later this year or maybe next year?
