Experience beauty and history as you travel from Canberra to Brisbane in a luxury air-conditioned coach. The tour has been well timed so that you get to see the spectacle of Australia’s largest flower festival, Floriade.
This tour combines wonderful Queensland and New South Wales country destinations while having you in Canberra during Australia’s largest flower festival, Floriade.
Spring is a beautiful time of the year in the colder climates that this tour visits, and the gardens are bursting with colour and fragrance, making this tour a real “must do” package for all keen gardeners, which is why two groups sell out every year, and this is the second tour for 2017, with only a few places left on it, so please be quick if you are interested in joining the group this year.
This package begins with a short flight down to Sydney, then coaching to our nation’s capital, Canberra. Here you’ll have plenty of time to visit the national monuments as well as taking in the colours and smells that make up the millions of flowers at the magnificent Floriade flower festival.
The tour then starts to make its way back up to Brisbane, visiting Corbett Park in Bowral with its tulip gardens, then spending two nights in the picturesque Blue Mountains, really beautiful at this time of the year, with the gardens bursting with colour.
You’ll then travel to the beautiful Hunter Valley region for two nights, with more gardens and sightseeing, specialty shops and a winery before visiting the Golden Guitar and Waxworks at Tamworth. Just when you thought the tour was over, you’ll also visit Armidale and then Warwick where you’ll visit the Abbey of the Roses for a delightful afternoon tea.
This tour will leave you wanting to explore more of the beauty that Australia has to offer.
