Norfolk Island is only 8 kilometres long by 5 kilometres wide, full of island beauty, wonderful history and friendly locals. There are only about 2000 residents, and about 200 tourists at any time, and of course the local cows have right of way on the roads! No wonder Travel Team send five groups there every year. Our first group tour was in 2000.
This tour also incorporates Foundation Day, which commemorates the arrival of Lieutenant Philip Gidley King and 22 people including 15 convicts on the island on March 6, 1788. A highlight is watching the re-enactment of the first landing of convicts on the island.
